My adventure in tabletop roleplaying began in a rural Indiana elementary school in 1982. Four kids were gathered around a table chattering about having found a treasure chest. One said he was going to open the chest and another responded that some funny dice must first be rolled. Silence fell as the die tumbled across the table. All eyes went from the die to stare at one boy ... "What happens? What did I find?" The boy responded gravely, "You feel a prick and jerk your hand back to see a needle sticking out of the lock. You suddenly feel numb and the world goes black ... you're dead." The table erupted and from that moment, I was hooked.

That weekend my parents bought me the Dungeons & Dragons Basic boxed set and a world of endless adventure opened up. Many years, characters, campaigns and countless laughs later, the journey continues with Lichyard Games.
