Monster Manual 2009 Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 1e

The 1st edition Monster Manual is a foundational bestiary featuring over 350 creatures, from classic mythological beasts to original fantasy monsters. Published in 1977, it was the first hardcover rulebook for AD&D, offering detailed stats, lore, and illustrations. Its iconic entries helped define the game’s imaginative scope and enduring legacy.

This is a very nice copy of the Third Alpha printing with overall minor wear and tear. The front and back covers have minor rubbing, the spine has slightly more rubbing, and all four corner are intact though bent inward. The interior in is great condition, with a tight binding, those beautiful red endsheets with a prior owner's very small initials on the inner cover, and the interior pages generally clean and appear to be unmarked.

NEAR MINT - Like new and likely unused with only the slightest signs of wear from storage.

EXCELLENT - Lightly used and likely carefully stored with defects such as slight cover, corner, spine, edge wear and lid depression if a box set. No tears, stains, writing and/or highlighting.

VERY GOOD - Used and likely stored with some care with defects such as minor cover wear, dinged corners, spine creases, slight tears, stains, writing and/or highlighting and minor lid depression if a box set.

GOOD - Heavily used and likely stored with little care with defects such as moderate cover wear, corner damage, spine creases, minor tears, stains, writing and/or highlighting and moderate lid depression if a box set.

FAIR - Roughly used and likely stored with no care with defects such as significant cover wear, corner damage, spine creases, loose pages, moderate to heavy tears, stains, writing and/or highlighting and a crushed lid if a box set.
